Dark Chambers

Dark Chambers Haunted Attraction started back in 2011 with one man's dream in downtown Dubuque's Varner building, where we operated for the first six years. Our beloved Varner eventually needed structural repairs to the building that weren't feasible. So we searched for a new location, and decided to move to the YMCA camp and bring back Dubuque's haunted forest. After a few years, we ultimately decided to look into purchasing our own property. In 2019, we bought the beloved Redtop Supper Club in Hazel Green, Wisconsin.

 

Through the years, owner Trent's contagious personality and love of scaring has attracted Halloween enthusiasts year after year. Not only to be scared, but also to be the ones scaring.  Scare acting is said to be one of the most difficult types of acting, so it certainly isn't for everyone. Some have tried it and stayed for a season or two, while others are now entering their tenth plus season with DC. This opportunity has introduced us to an industry and careers we didn't know existed. Dark Chambers has had dozens of very talented actors scare within our chambers throughout the years. Having created a "family" of Halloween lovers that consistently bring the fear year after year, we could not have continued this long without our groups passion. At the end of each night, we leave bumped and bruised, with a sore voice, but we have a hell of a time doing it!
